The first off the rank which showed us we were in for a 'hell of a ride'. After the surrounding area being flooded and cut off we faced a detour in getting there, but at least we got there, others didn't! The queue formed quickly outside the pub, which stayed open selling us drinks as we stood and waited. They weren't silly - $$$$$$$ When the gates opened Shannon was still on the stage so there was a rush for the front - no way were the Shannon fans going to be beaten. This was the only gig that Adam and Shannon did an encore, the others they just sang right through. Adam's encore was. I Still Call Australia Home as he was reflecting on his upcoming move to America, His fans sang along very loudly as they had done throughout his whole set. Jimmy performed his longest set at Bonnie Doon. He introduced us to his new song Turn It Around for the first time. It got a great reaction from the crowd. Can't wait for the new album to come out - Jimmy back to rock, awesome!! It was a good crowd and they were getting right into it and going off. Some boys were ripping jocks off each other and throwing them at the stage, only problem - they were landing on us, yuk. In the encore Jimmy dedicated Still On Your Side to Sylvia, 'a great fan who had taken the long journey last week'. It was very touching and brought a tear to many eyes. Sylvia will be missed by Jimmy fans all over.
